Dune Embrace Bed

A continuous upholstered curve gathers bed and side surfaces into one sheltering form. Developed for Desert Tranquility.

A ring of brass, a folded plane, a ribbon on the wall. Each piece starts with a form and finds a practical use.

Orbit Table

Occasional table · Built commission

A brass ring traces a light, open frame around glass. Shown on its own and alongside the Arc Chaise for which it was composed.

Calyx Nest Tables

Sculptural tables · Design study

A stone seed and a bronze-toned pod form a pair of low tables. A smooth stone surface sits beside a cluster of sculpted petals.

Fold Console

Residential · Built commission

A folded plane supports a slender timber console. Storage and display meet in a deliberately asymmetric silhouette.

Leaf Table

Occasional table · Built commission

Overlapping leaf-shaped planes bring veined stone, warm metal and tinted glass into a layered tabletop composition.

Ribbon Shelf

Wall shelf · Built commission

A continuous ribbon turns across the wall, forming ledges and loops for display. Shown in warm metallic and pale finishes.

Shikara Shelf

Shelf · Built commission

A wall shelf inspired by the raised prow, canopy and timber construction of a Kashmiri shikara.

Calyx Bloom Light

Sculptural light · Design study

Warm light gathers inside a patinated pod, illuminating a succession of translucent petals. The enclosing shell rises into a slender, tapering stem.

Completed client commissions sit alongside three designs in development: Calyx Nest Tables, Calyx Bloom Light and Coral Bloom.

The designer’s hand

The room is only
the beginning.

Many of these pieces began with a particular room: a bed for Desert Tranquility, a bench for a waiting area, a table to accompany a chaise. Shweta develops the furniture alongside the interior, giving each piece its own character and purpose.

Pause Bench

Waiting environment · Built commission

Colour, shared armrests and extended timber ledges lend warmth to the experience of waiting.

Coral Bloom

Sculptural form · Design study

Layered blue surfaces and branching supports evoke a coral formation. Designed for The Tidal Respite waiting lounge, the piece brings the marine language of the room into its furniture.

Contour Study Table

Residential · Study desk

A pale surface loops around timber storage and extends into a long writing desk. Beneath it, a curved timber footrest follows the same flowing line.
